Todays plans are to take the head of, again because i forgot to make 2 extra holes for cooling.
Finnish the steering, figure out how do install throtle cable, and cooling hoses. Tommorow i will go and buy cooper pipe 3/8inc for fuel pipes, and chane rear brake pipes also to new ones.
Here you can see that it was really tight fit. brake hoses are from Volvo 240. Disk backplates are opel original, just litlle bit modifed.
Here is the rear axle, also found out that i have rear stabilizer. Exhaust pipe (52mm) with one flow thru silencer in the back, made hole for lambda sensor.
Here is better picture when wheels are turned out, how the brake hoses will be. Should be alright??

Originaly there was a lip ,so i removed it. Was that alright, now it feels smooth?

Number 5. There is also corners, so i removed them. Area 4 also casting stuff removed.
Does number 3 look alright?
Also all ideas about porting and what to use for finishing. I dindt enlarge the canals, just removed all the corners and tryed to make this nr.3 smaller and smoother.

Orded new cam and springs from Enem, X1 with double springs. Engine it self is a 1.9S block with 2.4 internals, flywheel from 2.0S engine machined to adapt Volvo 240Turbo clutch and opel original disk. Compression will be 10.2. also installed all new bearings, seals, new chain, new lifters, rings and else what needed changing. Still have to messure it the valve- piston clearance is enough. Exhaust side i have martelius 4-2-1 exhaust with custom pipes 51mm and one muffler rear. Interior needs a new carpet and some cleaning up. Next will be to put the engine back and start with new brake and fuel lines, also wiring. Car will not be painted this year because lack of funds and time. Anyway this one is for driving not for polishing.

Here you can see that the new steeringbox comes more inside, so i made new wall from glassfibre, i need to bend brake pedal little bit right to get more clearance for steering column. Also got omega A 45% LSD what goes to the rear axle. Also brake master silinder and brake booster from omega 3000. Milled 2.4 head down 1mm so the compustion chamber is about 51cc. Original valves, i will clean it a little bit.
Gearbox is 240 getra , wahed it and made the shifter mods, to make it faster. With the front end im plaaning to use 2 round headlamps from vw golf, also got some fiat or bmw 15inc wheel ET 23, in the front i needed 5mm spacer because they where in contact with new brakes.
Also comparison new front brakes and old ones. Disks from Honda Prelude and suports from Volvo 240.
When you install the brakes you have to make some room on the upper A arm because it hits it. Rear will remain original drumbrakes.
